These are pictures I took almost two years ago. I've posted them on other forums, and they're kinda old, but not too old to post. I will be taking new pictures of this 'hood now that it's green out.
This neighborhood straddles The Ville and is one of North St. Louis' more stable neighborhood enclaves. African-American professionals - doctors, lawyers, nurses, teachers, clergy - lived in this neighborhood during the Jim Crow era in St. Louis. There are some who still live (retired) in the neighborhood or the homes have been passed down to children/grandchildren. I know because my aunt lives in the neighborhood.
