Hi y'all,

I just saw this really nice movie set in St. Louis though it was not at all shot here but in Vancouver.

Its known as " Interstate 60" and was directed by Bob Gale the same guy who directed Back to the future among others.

When I started watching it, I had no idea it was based here in St. Louis so imagine my shock when during the opening credits I see buildings that I recognise and then an arial shot of the arch and the words of the lead charachter that he was so and so and lived in "St. Louis, Missourah"

The movie itself is really good. I thought it would be a normal B grade movie made for TV, but I was totally wrong. This might just be one of the best movies I have ever seen (and I'm not kidding)

Anyone who goes to imdb.com knows that a 7.7/10 rating is very good. Here is a link to the imdb listing and its review

You can buy a DVD from ebay/amazon for under 5 bucks and I highly recommend it. All the St. Louis references (and there are many) had me in splits from the thin crust Pizza, to the Blues jerseys to Benton (renamed Banton) etc.

Trust me you will enjoy this film. Its kinda like a hidden treasure. I bought the DVD off ebay and I also know a place where you can download the torrents but I'm not telling (cos thats illegal <wink>) and you'd probably want this in your collection.

Anyways, watch this movie and lemme know what you think. And for anybody who has seen it before whats ure opinion of it. I for one really like it (as you can see!)

Enjoy.

I saw that in the Sunday PD, and was planning to check it out sometime. Glad to hear that it is good.

This could be the movie I heard a rumor about. However, I had heard it was the Cohen brothers directing, and the name was "Kingshighway." Hmm... the names are somewhat similar, so this may be it.

This movie came out in 2002. I'm not sure the Cohen brothers had anything to do with it.

They probably didn't. Rumors are often false.
