I guess that makes me a Luddite- I never even noticed the option.

Now that I know, I'd choose SubSilver as well.

I kind of like it the way it is, only because I've seen so many other forums that use the SubSilver style. At least in its current state, it's a little different.

I tried Subsilver for a few minutes late last night and for a few more early this morning.

The funny thing is, I guess I'm like DeBaliviere in that I've seen Subsilver used so often on other forums. Maybe that's why the default choice is easier on the eyes, or maybe I'm just used to it by now since I use this forum more than any other. So upon further review, I think I prefer the default style.

Hahah. Xing, I've always said "you all." It's a good way to distinguish between singular and plural second-person, and I just can't bring myself to say "y'all" like my Kentucky relatives.

Too bad "ye" is obsolete in English.

I prefere the "subsilver" color scheme, but think that the layout of the "plain" is a little better (the sligh differences in the link placements do matter). Its hard to say which I'll use in the long run.

I'd like to see a code fix to where a long link or big pic wouldn't break the table for the whole page.

There's all sorts of codes on the phpbb.com site, many of which I would like to add on. But I don't have access to the server, and Urbanstlouis doesn't have time right now.

Of the two choices, Subsilver, for sure. You mentioned possibly providing other skins so I won't "commit" until then.
