I read an article that said Real World: Austin had a $20 million economic impact on Austin during the 4 months they were filming.
That's impressive.
I went to Austin last night and drove by the house. They stopped filming about a month ago and now the house is being turned into a Mexican restaurant. For those familiar with Austin, the house is in the Warehouse District, right in the middle of downtown.
It was weird to see the house deserted when I just saw an episode the other night of it filled with booze, sex, and rock & roll.
