Does anyone know of any good ones in downtown? Any details would be good, too!

Bevo Mill. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Tigin or Dubliner "should" be good.

Cummels should have something. They are normally very cheap.

Plus, it's Super Sunday II! Tigin will be open! Dubliner, not until 10:00. So they don't get my business.

I don't think they are open on Sundays.

Does anyone know if Square One is doing a buffet on Easter? I ate there Mother's Day last year and it was excellent. My parents are coming in town and my kitchen is too small or I'm too lazy. Any other buffet ideas in South City?

Obnoxiously priced at $34, but a great buffet. Pays for itself if you make it your only meal of the day. When I went one of the chefs pulled a knife on me after my 5th trip back for smoked salmon.

Wear your fat pants.

If you've got to travel to West County because that's where all the relatives are: Spazios at Westport has a real good buffet that's around $20.

Keep in mind there are about 15,000 mostly-from-out-of-town college wrestling fans downtown this weekend, so some of those spots may be busier than usual.

Wolfgang Puck's at the art museum. They have wonderful pastries, hot items, omelets, and carving station. When I have people come from out of town, I always take them Sunday morning for the brunch as it has an unmatched atmosphere. ($28/pp).

I just took my whole family there this morning. I guess what I should say is that it's "mostly vegan, and all vegetarian except for the bacon". I like how they throw the bacon in there. It's tasty.

I know this is an old tread, but the Lemp Mansion has/had a great brunch. It was an all you can eat chicken + multiple side dishes for $13. I don't know how much it is now as that was 2 years ago. If it is the same, it was great!!

I took my gf, parents, bro in law sister and their 2 kids (2.5 & 1) to Modesto. First time doing brunch and it was great. We just ordered a bunch of stuff and passed it around and ended up ordering 2 more of the lamb chops and finished with some churros.

Great service and great food. My niece (2.5) wouldn't put the lamb bone down, gnawing on it and telling everyone "I'm a puppy, cause I have a bone."

They said they'd be doing brunch for major holidays from now on. I really thought it was great, and my mother and sister, both originally quite skeptical and advocating a traditional brunch, raved afterward. My neice even asked the name of the restaurant the next day and pronounced "I like their food."

Between the 6 adults it came to about 24 bucks a person, and we all left very contented.
