You got to follow through posts with credible sources. This article says (posted 72 hours ago) that Iceland will resume regular seasonal service to KC next summer. It did not say "expanded" service. It is good news that they will resume the same service as 2018. https://centreforaviation.com/news/ic...
117 to date.

last years total 204. If people play nice we will be lower and possibly much lower.

Sadly, out of the 117 all have been black except 7 (white/other).
Let me put it this way... the initial plans went from mediocre to worse. This IS the airport KC is getting and it is really ashame, ugly to say the least. As for final plans... 2 weeks is the timeline.... according to KCUR and SOM; "SOM hopes to finalize the concept designed by the end of August so ...
The new KC Airport renderings were just finalized and released. The airport has got to be one of the most underwhelming and blah (ugly) airport designs I have ever seen. WTH? This is what 1.4 billion bucks buys? Sad! It is now opening end of 2022 and almost 12 months behind schedule ( and will most ...

JAL007 is one of the biggest trolls on this thread. He/She does not live in STL or anywhere close. Is clueless on stats (pointing out Neiman Marcus and Saks ...good grief) and loves to fly into this thread to dog on STL. His/Her posts are nothing more than hearsay, biased, clueless, irrelevant and r...
I, too, have not been approved for KCrag. Been waiting since June this time around. As for PIT and BA: "The airport authority will pay the carrier a $3 million with money from the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development, split $1.5 million a year for two years. It is the largest ...
JAL007 ... exactly! That is why JetBlue is limited in the heartland. The just added MSP to the east, but again... with DL monopoly I'm not sure how they will do. The only thing they are are filling in MSP is adding a Low Cost carrier to the east coast. WN has had very little success in MSP and growt...
they did not let me register my name either a few months ago and still waiting. I wanted to participate... not interrogate. I also have given up and not registering an "alias" name to use there. oh well.
ummm... JetBlue doesn't start service to airports because their town is sexy or trending. JetBlue has one of the smallest fleets in the country (just above 200 planes) and hasn't been a "trending" airline in quite awhile IMO. They really are not much threat to Southwest. Their route map has been ver...
Arrived at 6:30 PM last evening (Thursday) from reykjavik and T2 was crazy busy. Not only did three international flights arrive at the same time - so the line in customs/immigration area was long. There were at least enough agents on duty and were keeping the extremely long line moving. Global Entr...
The Foundry wouldn't take them but if they did end up there I'd laugh. People are already calling The Foundry "Union Station Pt. 2". haha haven't heard such. The Hard Rock is moving because of Union Station...not because the want too. I expect them to stay downtown and near the stadiums. I will bet...
on both of our flights the IFE IPad had 50 movies, 50 music channels and games to choose from for 18.00 USD. Flying overnight we slept the 6.5 hours. our flight attendant told someone across from us that WIFI is coming because they are beginning business class and it will be available on all planes ...
I am sitting in Frankfurt Germany right now as I type after flying from STL to KEF to FRA. WOW Air all the way through. First flight Sunday 10:55pm departure from STL T2 Gate E29. Firstly, T2 is packed on Sunday eve... not just WOW but Southwest. Only middle security was open and the line was litera...
How did your Frankfort flight tickets compare in price/time vs US3? I am absolutely happy with Wow. The planes are spacious, new and brilliantly colorful. We paid for mid June 1200.00 PP R/T STL to Frankfort. We fly and have a 2 hour layover before our FRA flight in KEF. 3 hour layover coming home ...
Many here have suggested that Southwest and Terminal 2 and E Concourse is getting : "too" crowded and is deterring growth. I disagree completely. YES the terminal and concourse IS crowded and extremely busy but no more than any other concourse and terminal I fly in and out of every week from STL acr...
Southwest ceased flights from STL nonstop to Birmingham in 2015. They also, at thatsame time, cut nonstop Birmingham to Dallas. SWA said that overall O&D in Birmingham was not warranting the flight schedules. I would like to see this service reinstated.
KSDK - Can't find anything on that.
This may have been posted sometime here - but this is an expansion plan for STL and their model ideas from 2015/2017 reports.

But wait... Channel 5 hasn't covered that.

It obviously is reopening due to the trolley coming.
I know a lot of people here talk about how landslide space is skinny in STL T2. Just flew in on a late 2am arrival flight from Las Vegas and Concourse C and B there are skinnier than skinny and jammed packed. Low ceilings and unattractive. Many airports are like that. T2 has tall ceilings even in th...
Not quite. The top four airlines announced their annual passenger numbers keep rising nationwide and are projecting growth ans space needs at KC. SWA's KC rep said that they would be interested in more gates. Surely. SWA has not committed, nor any of the other airlines in KC have to any new gates. I...
Ok slow down the rodeo here. Lambertand SWA don't have a "situation" or "problem" going on at all. Where some of these comments come from is just beyond me. Terminal 2 and Councourse E is serving SWA perfectly right now. The additional gates in the new reuse concourse area are sufficient now and any...
